Chief Managers of Thyssenkrupp and SGA Visited FST Research Center of Mineral Processing and Metallurgy

Chief Managers of Thyssenkrupp Company and Dr. Ekkhart Mertins, from SGA research center, visited FST institute of mineral processing and metallurgical research on Tuesday, March 01, 2016. In this visit, Capabilities, facilities and equipments of the institute such as mineral processing, chemical and metallurgical laboratories, and pilot plants of crushing-grinding, magnetic separation, filtration and pelletizing were shown.  Furthermore, areas of cooperation between this institute and Thyssenkrupp Co. and SGA regarding experimental, pilot and industrial test works in iron ore processing and pelletizing industries were evaluated. At the end of the visit, technical knowledge and experiences related to iron ore processing and steel making has been discussed by R&D experts of FST and the visitors and the essentials for more cooperation between these companies in the future projects were prepared.
